Joint Replacement Surgery
Joint replacement—or arthroplasty—is one of the most successful procedures in modern medicine, reliably relieving pain and restoring mobility in patients with advanced arthritis or joint damage. We perform:
- Total Knee Replacement (TKR) using computer-navigated and robotic-assisted techniques for precise implant alignment.
- Total Hip Replacement (THR) via anterior, lateral, or posterior approaches based on individual patient anatomy.
- Partial (Unicondylar) Knee Replacement for patients with disease limited to a single compartment.
- Revision Joint Replacement for patients with worn, loosened, or infected implants requiring complex reconstruction.
- Shoulder Replacement including reverse total shoulder arthroplasty for rotator-cuff arthropathy.

Arthroscopic (Keyhole) Surgery
Arthroscopy allows us to diagnose and treat joint problems through incisions as small as 5 mm. Common arthroscopic procedures include:
- ACL and PCL reconstruction of the knee.
- Meniscus repair and partial meniscectomy.
- Rotator-cuff repair and subacromial decompression of the shoulder.
- Bankart repair for recurrent shoulder dislocation.
- Ankle arthroscopy for impingement and loose bodies.
Arthroscopic techniques result in less tissue damage, reduced post-operative pain, and faster return to daily activities compared with traditional open surgery.
Trauma and Fracture Management
Our team manages the full spectrum of musculoskeletal trauma, from simple fractures treated with casts or splints to complex peri-articular and open fractures requiring surgical fixation. We employ locking plates, intramedullary nails, and external fixators from leading implant systems, and we follow damage-control orthopaedic principles in polytrauma cases to optimise survival and functional recovery.
Minimally Invasive Techniques
Wherever feasible, we favour minimally invasive surgical approaches. Smaller incisions, muscle-sparing dissection, and image-guided navigation translate into less blood loss, shorter hospital stays, and quicker rehabilitation. Pre-Operative Planning and Post-Operative Care
